Abstract

One of the most critical drivers of economic growth in both developed and developing nations alike is FDI. While at the same time indicating that the country's economic variables should be opened up to the global market and that economic reform and integration into the global economy should be pursued, the increasing role of corporate citizenship and the autonomous increase in financial flows between countries. Research aimed at finding and expelling factors attracting foreign direct investment FDI in the governorates of the middle Euphrates region. After reviewing the concept of foreign direct investment, relevance and discussing the most significant positive and negative impacts. The discussion covered the investment environment in the provinces of the middle Euphrates by focusing on the most critical factors attracting investment and expelling it when discussing the negative and positive aspects of foreign investment to the governorates mentioned.
