The Role of Strategic Orientation in Achieving Water Resources Governance: An exploratory Study In the Directorate of Water Resources In Najaf
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to diagnose the role played by the strategic direction in achieving the governance of water resources in its dimensions (enhancing the efficiency of water governance, legal frameworks) and the problem of the study started from a main question (Do leaders in the Directorate of Water Resources realize the impact of the strategic direction in achieving water governance) and given the importance of the water sector, the study was conducted in the Directorate of Water Resources in Najaf and the study was applied, on a sample of (250) In order to process the data, a set of statistical methods were used to analyze the data collected and processed using SPSS and AMOS programs, including (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression coefficient, multiple linear regression and variance test). The study reached a set of results that coincided in their entirety with the hypotheses of the research, the most important of which is the interest of the researched directorate in all variables and dimensions of the study and the existence of relationships The correlation in a significant way between the research variables with their sub-dimensions, the existence of an intermediate correlation between the strategic direction and the governance of water resources
