تعد صناعة مياه الشرب المعبأة من الصناعات المهمة داخل القطاع الصناعي ، حيث تعد من أكثر الصناعات الغذائية والمشروبات ديناميكية ، نظرًا لارتباطها الوثيق بالبشر وصحتهم ، فهم بحاجة إلى التكنولوجيا والعناية الخاصة من بقية الصناعات. الصناعات الغذائية الأخرى لأنها تؤثر على الإنسان بشكل أساسي ، لذلك كانت فرضية هذا البحث أن مصنع نبع العتبة التابع لشركة فيض القصيم بمميزاته تعرض لانخفاض وارتفاع متفاوت في مستوى الإنتاج والإيرادات. وفق معايير محددة سيساعد في إبراز الأسباب التي دفعت الشركة إلى تلك المستويات من الإنتاج ، وقد توصل البحث إلى عدة استنتاجات أهمها أن الدراسة الميدانية للمختبر قد حققت فرضية البحث في أهمية الاختيار الصحيح والدقيق لمؤشرات التقييم الاقتصادي من أجل إعطاء صورة واضحة وحقيقية لمصنع ربيع بداية تم من خلالها تحديد الانحرافات وكيفية معالجتها لدفع العمل قدما وتطويره بشكل فعال ومتميز ، وفي ضوء الاستنتاجات توصل البحث إلى عدد من التوصيات منها تطبيق معايير الأداء الاقتصادي بشكل دوري. في معمل نبع العتبة للتعرف على الانحرافات أينما وجدت وزيادة أداء المتغيرات الاقتصادية فيها.
