The Impact Of Financial And Monetary Policies On The Economic Growth In Iraq: An Analytical Study

الملخص

This research aims to know the nature of the relationship between some policy variables,financial, monetary and economic growth in Iraq, and  to what extent these variables exercise their role in stimulating economic growth in Iraq, by reading quantitatively and analytically for each variable and determining the type and extent of the relationship using  modern econometric analysis methods to study the relationship and effects between the  variables under study and for the period from (  2020-2003)  According to annual data, through the use of the statistical program (Eviews.12), where the rest tests of the variables were carried out, and the relationship was measured using the  least squares model (LS) to reach a clear understanding about the impact of some  variables of monetary and fiscal policies in stimulating economic growth, and the results of the analysis of the  significance of the variables showed  The existence of a positive  relationship between the money supply (M1) and economic growth (GE), while the exchange rate (EX)  is inversely related to the dependent variable, while the fiscal policy variables showed an inverse  relationship   between  public spending  (EXG) andeconomic growth   , while  the  general revenue  (RG) is directly related to the dependent variable.
